About
We are a team of experienced and passionate therapists who are dedicated in supporting clients and their families. At Puzzles we ensure the implementation of the latest evidence based intervention and work hard to deliver a family and client centred approach to therapy.
We offer mobile home, school and community visits all across Western and South Western Sydney.
Puzzles Occupational Therapy provides a capacity building approach to therapy. This ensures we aim to support our clients and their community develop in the necessary areas to achieve their goals. As a mobile service, we travel to the person and conduct therapy in their preferred environment.
Therapy intervention is individually tailored in collaboration with the person and their support systems.
In addition to mobile occupational therapy services, Puzzles also offer teletherapy, consults and corporate workshops.
Our Team
Rashid is a Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) and the Director at Puzzles Occupational Therapy.
Rashid is an experienced OT highly skilled in working with children, teenagers and adults with disability who present with complex support needs. Rashid has completed a Master’s of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Health Sciences.
Rashid has a passion for working with clients with diverse cultural and social backgrounds, working closely with non-for-profit organisations and private clinical practices in Sydney Australia for over 9 years. Rashid has extenive experience working with children and teenagers with autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), global developmental delays, physical disabilities and neurocognitive conditions.
Rashid aims to support parents, caregivers and family members develop their skills to implement therapeutic interventions to support his clients.
Rashid has been involved with numerous community projects on a state and national level that support parents and caregivers with a children with disability.
Rashid enjoys travelling, all things food, camping, boating and agriculture.
Therapy Services
Occupational therapy aims to support individuals, to develop and maintain their ability to complete everyday meaningful activities or “occupations”.
For children, this maybe supporting the attainment of milestones and focusing on developing initial skills to complete many day-to-day tasks. These can include tasks such as dressing, using cutlery, toilet training, playing, handwriting or even getting ready for kindergarten. The tasks meaningful for a child is endless!
For teenagers and adults, this could be developing existing skills or learning new ones to support their wants and needs. An occupational therapist can support the person develop functional life skills important to them.
Every person is different and their day-to-day tasks or “occupations” will be too. The list of what an occupational therapist can do is quite long!
Puzzles Occupational Therapy offers assessment and intervention adressing any of the following:

Consults & Workshops
At Puzzles Occupational Therapy we offer consultations to individuals and businesses wishing to seek support from an experienced occupational therapist.
We also offer custom corporate workshops and run workshops within the community throughout the year.

Funding Options
Therapy services can be funded through any of the following:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Only self-managed and plan-managed funds.
- Private fees via bank transfer or eftpos.
- Private health insurance.
